Winner - MacArthur "Unleashed" Dog Park Design Competition
In Celebration of the opening of the AMFA and in recognition of the 2006 Masterplan for MacArthur
Park, the competition sought creative ideas for establishing an iconic symbol for MacArthur Park that
serves as a place marker for the southeastern end of the Park as well as creates a much needed
respite from the sun and a place for shelter in the MacArthur Unleashed Dog Park. This competition
builds on the ideas originally laid out in the MacArthur Park Master Plan of 2006 and seeks to address
concerns of visitors to the Park.

Paw-some news, Earthings! Your furry friends will love lounging in the shade of Little Rock's latest cosmic wonder - The Giant Red Frisbee®! This 30-foot disc crash-landed from the planet Whag-O, bringing interstellar shade to our four-legged pals. Disguised as a nostalgic 1966 Wham-O Frisbee®, it's more than meets the eye:
-- A Cleas Oldenburge-Esque Sculpture, hiding in plain sight near AMFA.
-- "World's Largest Frisbee®" roadside attraction along I-630.
-- Prime spot for lounging and fur-bulous selfies.
Enjoy convenient boulder seating and sun-soaking spots on the impact-rippled ground.
It's one small step for dogs, one giant leap for canine-kind!
